GPAF’s Goal in Research and Development:

Vision

With our unique idea and originality, we will explore new fields to apply the wind power generator and contribute to improve the global environment.

Objective

•Easily secure electricity at locations such as islands and mountainous areas where it is difficult to secure a power supply, and in the event of emergency or disaster.

•By effectively utilizing wind energy from buildings and moving objects, both of improving environment and securing electricity will be realized.

•By dramatically enhancing the power generation capacity of small wind turbine generators, which are popular in Europe and desert areas, the global environment  and human life will be improved.

Representative’s Greetings

Today, the greatest challenge of human is to prevent the global warming. In order to decrease and terminate the emission of carbon dioxide, it is urgent to develop natural and renewable energy resources to replace fossil fuels. Wind power energy is one of the strong candidates of renewable energy.

Green Power by Accelerated Flow Research LLC (GPAF) has invented a new type of windspeed acceleration type wind turbine generator based on our unique technological philosophy and has acquired  a series of patents (Patent No.6033870,  No.6110455, No.7466925).
Conventional wind turbines generators are becoming larger in order to increase their swept area. Huge wind turbines with a height of over 150m are practically used today. However, from energy efficiency perspective, it is far more advantageous to accelerate the wind speed than to increase the swept area.
It allows significant downsizing of a wind turbine generator.

Therefore, we used Laval tubes and added our own unique twist to them. Our research has shown that in order to rotate a wind turbine, not only the wind from the front of the wind turbine is used, but also the decelerated wind flow from the back of the wind turbine can be dragged out by using the effects of friction, knocking out, and absorption mixing by the external wind flowing outside the wind turbine. Discovered and invented a highly effective method.

This principle was confirmed through a joint research with Daido University and a patent application was filed. At this point, the power generation capacity was improved approximately three times than that of conventional wind turbines. Since then, the wind collection accelerator has been improved, and a joint research with  Nagaoka University of Technology has confirmed that the power generation capacity was increased more than 12 times larger.

This is a kind of wind turbine revolution, and we are confident that it will greatly contribute to improve wind power generation. Particularly, the average wind power in Japan is said to be about half  of Europe and the United States. Our system to accelerate wind speed would   perfectly suit to Japan’s environmental climate. It is expected to greatly contribute to enhance the renewable energy in Japan.
Currently, in order to commercialize this invention, we have established a new organization with the cooperation of Nagaoka University of Technology, Kanazawa University, Tokyo University Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, and others.

In order to realize the commercialization of this invention, we would like to ask your further support.

Corporate History

2000Established Specified Nonprofit Corporation International Resources Practical Use Association in Yokkaichi- city, Mie Prefecture for the conservation of the global environment, international cooperation and peace promotion.
We carried out projects to recycle physical resources and promote cultural exchange between Japan and Southeast Asia as well.
The project includes renovation of used cooking oil in cafeterias, and dispatching instructors to elementary schools and  women’s schools for environmental education courses.
2002In order to restore agriculture in the Pinatupo disaster area, we proposed a project to the “Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan”, which is a survey on agricultural development in the Pinatupo volcanic lahar deposit area in  Philippine.” The main objective was  to investigate the potential of surplus biomass, which can be used as a raw material for compost production. Submit the report to the ministry.
2003Proposed a research on commercialization of bio-alcohol production to Shin Mitsui Sugar Co., Ltd.
2005Participated as a citizen project at Expo 2005 in Aichi Prefecture. Broadcasted a  video “Story of Circulation” and received an award from Ajinomoto.
